THE BROOKE • SHAW • ZUMPFT BUILDING
BROOKE • SHAW • ZUMPFT is especially proud of its home in the historic Farmer's Bank Building. This stunning yellow-brick structure has graced the main street of old-town Minden since 1918, when its lower floor contained the office of town founder H.F. Dangberg. Designed by Nevada's premier architect, Frederic J. DeLongchamps, the building is notable for its graceful architectural detailing and classical revival embellishments. Just one year after the building's completion, DeLongchamps was appointed Nevada State Architect, and from 1919 to 1926 he designed a variety of public buildings for the State of Nevada.
In 1991, this unique building was completely restored in accordance with historical building guidelines by the current owner, the Farmersbanc Building Company. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Today, the building symbolizes both our local roots and devotion to quality -- exactly the messages we hope to extend as we welcome our clients.
